Key Responsibilities

- Configure and extend Zuora Billing, Subscription, Zuora Payments, and Revenue modules to support pricing, invoicing, and collections.
- Model the subscription lifecycle (recent, amend, renew, cancel), including rate plans, proration, and usage-based billing.
- Build and maintain integrations using Zuora REST and SOAP APIs, OAuth authentication, webhooks, and callouts.
- Write and optimize ZOQL and Data Query statements for reporting, reconciliation, and data validation.
- Automate processes with Zuora Workflow and Notifications. Where Zuora connects to Salesforce, write Apex for the CRM side.
- Support revenue recognition setup and work with Accounting on month-end and audit needs.
- Debug billing, payment, and data issues, find root causes, and document fixes.
- Explain technical decisions and trade-offs clearly to non-technical stakeholders in Finance and RevOps.

Required Qualifications





- Hands-on experience with the Zuora data model: Billing, Subscription, Payments (including Payment Method objects), and Revenue.
- Strong working knowledge of Zuora REST/SOAP APIs, ZOQL, OAuth, and event-driven integrations (webhooks/callouts).
- Experience with custom automation through Zuora Workflow, Notifications, and Data Query.
- Solid understanding of subscription billing concepts: proration, rate plans and charge models, usage-based billing, and revenue recognition basics.
- A track record of designing scalable, maintainable solutions and methodically debugging production issues.
- Strong written and verbal communication, with experience working alongside Finance and RevOps teams.
