About the Role

We are looking for a creative and technically skilled CAD Design Engineer to develop, modify, and prepare engineering designs, 2D drawings, and 3D models for mechanical components, products, and industrial systems. The candidate will work closely with design, production, and engineering teams to create accurate technical drawings, improve product designs, and ensure compliance with engineering specifications and manufacturing requirements.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

- Create and modify 2D engineering drawings and 3D models using CAD software.
- Develop detailed designs for mechanical components, assemblies, and industrial products.
- Prepare technical drawings, assembly layouts, and manufacturing specifications.
- Interpret engineering drawings, design requirements, and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with design engineers and production teams to develop practical design solutions.




- Modify existing designs based on technical requirements and engineering feedback.
- Perform basic design calculations and dimensional analysis.

Eligibility

- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Production Engineering, Mechatronics, or related disciplines.
- Freshers with knowledge of CAD software and engineering design concepts are encouraged to apply.
- Basic understanding of mechanical design, engineering drawings, and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of 2D drafting and 3D modelling techniques.

Required Skills

- Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and technical drafting.
- 2D drawing and 3D modelling.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or Creo.
- Mechanical component and assembly design.
- Engineering drawing interpretation.
- Basic knowledge of GD&T; and dimensional tolerances.
- Design modification and documentation.
