Key Responsibilities 1. Functional Expertise Lead the design and implementation of SAP GTS modules: Compliance Management: SPL screening and embargo compliance Customs Management: import and export processes Risk Management Trade Preference: FTAs and origin determination Conduct requirement-gathering workshops with business teams. Provide functional solutions aligned with global compliance regulations. 2. Configuration & Implementation Configure legal regulations, compliance checks including SPL, embargo and license controls, and customs processes including import and export declarations. Develop functional specifications for enhancements. Coordinate with technical teams for build and deployment activities. 3. Integration & System Landscape Manage integration between SAP GTS and SAP ECC or S/4HANA, including SD, MM and FI modules. Handle IDocs, RFCs, APIs, and middleware integration using PI/PO or CPI. Troubleshoot document-transfer and interface issues. 4. Support & Incident Management Lead L2/L3 support activities.



Analyze and resolve production issues. Perform root-cause analysis and implement fixes. Ensure SLA adherence and continuous improvement. 5. Data & Master Data Management Oversee product classification using HS codes, business-partner integration, and data governance and quality. Ensure accurate data for compliance checks. 6. Testing & Quality Assurance Support SIT, UAT and regression testing. Prepare test scenarios and validate outcomes. Ensure compliance and audit readiness. 7. Project Delivery & Leadership Page 1 SAP GTS Consultant | Publication-ready Lead end-to-end implementations and rollouts. Manage global deployment templates. Collaborate with cross-functional teams. Mentor junior consultants. 8. Compliance & Risk Management Ensure adherence to export-control regulations, sanctions and embargo requirements. Provide advisory support on global trade regulations. 9. Continuous Improvement & Innovation Identify automation opportunities within GTS processes. Explore AI and analytics for compliance optimization. Recommend system enhancements and best practices.
