Role Summary:

The Project Manager Operations & Supply Chain will be responsible for leading large-scale operational projects, ensuring seamless supply chain execution, and managing cross-functional teams and vendors. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive operational efficiency across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning & Execution

- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success metrics.
- Develop comprehensive project plans including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Ensure timely execution of projects with adherence to quality standards.
- Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions where required.
- Conduct regular project review meetings and provide status updates to leadership.

2. Operations Management

- Drive end-to-end operational efficiency across supply chain activities. • Identify process gaps and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Standardize operational processes and SOPs across projects.
- Ensure smooth coordination between operations, procurement, logistics, and field teams.
- Manage day-to-day operational challenges and resolve escalations effectively.

3. Supply Chain Management

- Oversee procurement planning, inventory management, and logistics operations.
- Ensure availability of resources and materials as per project timelines. • Optimize supply chain processes to reduce cost and improve efficiency.
- Monitor supply chain KPIs such as lead time, cost, and service levels. • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and quality standards.

4. Vendor Management

- Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors and service providers.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service-level agreements (SLAs).




- Monitor vendor performance and ensure adherence to agreed standards.
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships for long-term collaboration.
- Handle vendor escalations and ensure timely resolution.

5. Team Management & Leadership

- Lead, mentor, and manage cross-functional teams across locations.
- Define roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations.
- Drive team productivity and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Conduct performance reviews and support employee development.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.

6. Stakeholder Management

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including leadership, finance, HR, and technology teams.
- Act as a single point of contact for project-related communication.
- Present project updates, insights, and recommendations to senior management.
- Ensure alignment between business objectives and project deliverables.

7. Risk Management & Compliance

- Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans proactively.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation for all operational and project activities.

Key Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in Operations and Supply Chain Project Management.

• Proven experience in managing large-scale, multi-location projects.

• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

• Expertise in vendor management, procurement, and logistics.

• Solid analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Proficiency in MS Excel, project management tools.

• Bachelors degree in Engineering / Operations / Supply Chain (MBA preferred).
