Job Title: Civil Engineer Hill Projects (Project Engineer/ Senior Engineer)
Experience: 5 to 7 years in building construction, with at least 3 to 5 years on hill sites
Project Types: Villas, cottages, residential buildings.
Reports To: Project Manager
Employment Type: Full time, site-based
Salary: 50,000 to 60,000 per month
Qualifications and Experience

- B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering with 5+ years and Diploma holders with 8+ years of matching experience may be considered.
- 5 to 7 years in building construction, with at least 3 years on hill sites in HP, Uttarakhand, J&K; or similar regions.
- At least one completed projects among villas, residential buildings, hotels or resorts in Hilly Area.
- Hands-on experience with retaining walls, slope protection, Road Construction and hill drainage.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage construction from excavation to finishing: foundations, RCC frame structure, masonry, plaster, and waterproofing, flooring and external works.
- Coordinate with the consultants, PMC, MEP,



interior and landscape teams.
- Carry out slope cutting, benching and terracing safely as per the approved design.
- Build and supervise retaining walls (RCC, stone masonry, and gabion), breast walls and toe walls.
- Plan and build site drainage: catch drains, weep holes, cross drains and rainwater disposal.
- Supervise stepped and raft foundations on uneven or weak ground, and report any deviation in soil or rock conditions.
- Plan work around the monsoon and winter: stock material in advance, protect concrete in cold weather, and secure slopes before the rains.
- Check line, level, shuttering, reinforcement and concrete before every pour.
- Record material tests (cube, slump, steel, brick, soil).
- Maintain checklists; pour cards and quality records.
- Prepare and check measurements, measurement book (MB) entries and contractor bills.
- Track material use (cement, steel, aggregate) and control wastage.
- Enforce site safety: PPE, scaffolding, work at height, edge protection on slopes and support for excavations.
