Secondary Skill: Mainframe Monitoring & Performance Tuning (Omegamon, SYSVIEW, MainView, CICS PA)

Responsibilities

- Experience in upgrade install of CICS Transaction Servers zCEE CICS PA and other vendor products CAFC along with maintenance by applying FIX packs periodically
- Installation and tuning processes and procedures for CICS webservices and CICSplex System manager JVM Servers and Angels stated tasks so that all CICS services and infrastructures meet operational targets
- Should be self-sufficient and able to perform most of the tasks involved in his/her role without assistance
- Valuable knowledge on monitoring and administrative tools like Omegamon Sysview or any other equivalent for support
- Identify performance bottlenecks and provide administrative solutions where appropriate
- Working knowledge of System z communications and Systems Network Architecture SNA concepts
- Ability to interpret and utilize assembler output listings




- Monitor ticketing tool to resolve incidents and requests within agreed SLAs
- Adopt to weekends to support which get planned on rotational basis to change implementation and supports client systems for 247 on rotational basis

- Understating of CICS Application Architecture CMASMRO and NON-MRO design and maintenance for CICS connections from CICS as well Off host DataPower WAS JAVA to analyse architecture and security issues and perform advanced troubleshooting
- Working knowledge of zOS Job Control Language JCL
- Tool Service Now for Incident Change Management BMC Remedy OnDemand Tool
- Ensure documentation of all DR related operational processes and procedures
