B.E./B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical

Minimum of 10 years of experience working with a major wind turbine OEM in a technical or asset performance role.

Knowledge

- In-depth understanding of wind turbine technology and controller
- analyze technical documentation
- Experience with data analysis and performance monitoring tools, particularly SCADA systems.
- knowledge of IEC standards for Wind Power Curve studies.
- knowledge of wind power plant portfolio management.

Responsibilities

Performance Analysis of Wind Farm:

- To conduct performance Analysis of the Wind farm using Power curves, PN Curves, Pitch Curves, Temperature analysis and other parameters plots
- Analyze the wind turbine performance using met mast/I-spin data as per IEC guidelines
- Prepare generation budget for Operating assets
- To evaluate potential losses in a wind farms and works on a strategies to minimize the operational and performance losses




- market research
- Utilize SCADA systems and data analysis softwares to monitor performance and identify trends.

Operational Support

- Collaborate with the Fleet Performance team to integrate detailed technical insights into our monitoring and analysis tools.
- Train and mentor internal team on OEM equipment specifics and best practices for performance analysis

Technical Documentation Analysis

- Analyze and interpret OEM technical documentation to understand the causes of turbine stops, curtailments, and unavailability.
- Develop methodologies for calculating unavailability time and energy loss, and turnover availability for each OEM's equipment.
- Prepare/Analyse RCA reports for all the major breakdowns
