2. ABOUT THE ROLE
OWS stands for “Order What Sold” — working with the students who have already bought an IWLD course. These students already trust IWLD; this role makes sure they are well supported and are guided towards the next course, renewal or upgrade that helps them continue their weight-loss journey.
The role has two parts. First, during IWLD’s live early-morning and night Zoom classes, you make sure no student’s question is missed — you watch the chat and live Q&A;, reply quickly and correctly using IWLD’s program guidelines, and pass on anything you cannot answer to the class Teacher or Head of Department straight away. Second, you build a relationship with these existing students, understand their progress and needs, and help them sign up for IWLD’s next courses, renewals and upgrades.
You will not be conducting the class yourself. This is a split-shift role — you must be available on time for both the 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM sessions every working day. Your focus is the live class and the students who have already bought from IWLD.
3. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Before the Class
• Log in on time for both shift sessions (6:00 AM and 6:00 PM) and join each Zoom class before it starts, with your laptop, internet and audio checked.
• Review the day’s topic,
task and any notes shared by the class Teacher or Head of Department, so you are ready for likely questions.
B. During the Class — Handling Students’ Questions
• Monitor the Zoom chat and live Q&A; continuously for the full class.
• Answer students’ questions clearly, correctly and quickly, strictly according to IWLD program guidelines — never guess or give personal advice outside the program.
• Reply in the language the student uses (English or Hindi), in a respectful, warm and encouraging tone.
• Make sure no student is ignored — every question gets a reply or an acknowledgement.
• Escalate any question you cannot answer, or any medical or sensitive concern, to the class Teacher or Head of Department immediately, and let the student know it is being looked into.
C. OWS — Order What Sold (Selling to Existing Students)
• Build a friendly, trusting relationship with students who have already bought an IWLD course.
• Understand each student’s progress, goals and remaining course duration, so you know who is ready for the next step.
• Suggest the right next IWLD course, renewal or upgrade to each student, based on their progress and needs — honestly, and only what genuinely suits them.
• Explain course details, duration and fees clearly and correctly, as per IWLD’s current approved price list — never promise discounts, results or terms that are not approved.
• Follow up with interested students until they decide, and share confirmed students with the team for payment and enrolment as per IWLD’s process.
• Never pressure or mislead a student into buying.
D. Records & Reporting
• Maintain a Google Sheet of students spoken to, their interest level, follow-up dates and outcome.
• Note repeated and common class questions, so the teaching team can address them in future classes.
• Send a short daily report to the Head of Department at the end of the night session: questions handled and escalated in class, students contacted, students interested, and courses sold.
4. WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
Head of Department —
Teaching
Your reporting manager;
receives your daily report, handles escalated questions and sets
course-selling priorities
Class Teacher
Conducts the live class; you
support them by handling the chat and live questions
Sales / Accounts Team
Completes payment and
enrolment for students you confirm
5. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Non-Negotiable Skills (for every IWLD role)
• Comfortable working on a laptop, including Zoom.
• Good written and spoken English and Hindi.
• Robust reading comprehension — reads a student’s question carefully and understands what is actually being asked.
• Follow-up — makes sure every escalated question and every interested student is followed up to closure.
• Ownership — treats every student as their own responsibility.
• Clear, polite and confident communication.
• Working knowledge of Google Drive, Sheets and Docs.
Good to Have
• Prior experience in sales, tele-calling, customer support or online teaching.
• Fast and accurate typing.
• Comfort using AI tools for documentation (preferred, not mandatory).
6. WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
• Every student question in the live class gets a correct reply or acknowledgement — none are missed.
• Existing students feel supported and choose to continue with IWLD’s next courses.
• Every interested student is followed up to a clear decision, with the record kept up to date.
• On time for both shift sessions, every working day.
• Daily reports are sent on time, every working day.
7. NOTE
This role follows IWLD’s internal teaching guidelines and current approved course and price list. Full training on the IWLD program, the class process, the courses and the escalation process will be provided during onboarding. The formal designation on the Offer Letter and Appointment Letter will be “Teacher” (Grade G2, TCH — Teaching).
