### Job Description:

We are seeking a result-oriented Assistant Manager – Production to supervise corn wet milling and maize starch manufacturing operations, focusing on production efficiency, starch recovery, quality, and cost optimization.

### Key Responsibilities:

* Supervise end-to-end corn wet milling operations from maize cleaning and steeping to starch washing and starch milk preparation.

* Plan daily production activities and monitor achievement against targets.

* Improve starch recovery, by-product recovery, material balance, and process efficiency.

* Monitor process parameters and troubleshoot grinding, separation, hydro cyclone, centrifuge, and starch washing operations.

* Optimize steam, power, water, and chemical consumption.

* Coordinate with QC, maintenance, utilities, electrical, and instrumentation teams.

* Supervise Shift In-charges, operators, and technicians.

* Prepare daily production MIS, yield reports, downtime analysis, and utility consumption reports.

* Ensure compliance with quality standards, SOPs, food safety, and EHS requirements.

* Support installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, and stabilization of plant equipment.





### Process Automation & SCADA Coordination

* Develop and document the plant operating logic, process sequence, and operating philosophy for corn wet milling and maize starch manufacturing.

* Coordinate with the SCADA / automation team to develop and implement control logic, interlocks, alarms, permissives, and automatic sequences for process equipment and sections.

* Provide process operating parameters, set points, equipment operating sequences, and control requirements to the automation team.

* Participate in logic review, functional testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and validation of SCADA-based process control systems.

* Ensure automation logic supports safe operation, stable process control, production efficiency, and minimum process losses.

### Candidate Requirements:

* 5–8 years of relevant experience in corn wet milling / maize starch manufacturing.

* Solid knowledge of starch recovery, process optimization, material balance, and production planning.

* Understanding of PFDs, P&IDs;, PLC/SCADA, and process instrumentation.

* Experience in yield improvement, cost control, and manpower supervision.

* Plant installation and commissioning experience will be an added advantage.
