The Store Helper is responsible for supporting warehouse and store operations by receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining inventory of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods. The role ensures proper stock handling, cleanliness, and adherence to food safety and hygiene standards within the bakery production facility.

- Key ResponsibilitiesInventory & Material HandlingAssist in receiving raw materials, ingredients, packaging materials, and other supplies.
- Unload, check, and stack materials as per storage guidelines.
- Arrange products systematically in designated storage locations.
- Support stock issuance to production teams as per approved requisitions.
- Assist in stock counting, cycle counts, and physical inventory verification.
- Warehouse OperationsEnsure proper FIFO (First In First Out) and FEFO (First Expiry First Out) practices.
- Maintain accurate labeling of materials and storage racks.
- Transport materials safely between warehouse and production areas.
- Report damaged, expired, or non-conforming materials to the supervisor.
- Hygiene & Safety ComplianceMaintain cleanliness and housekeeping of the warehouse and storage areas.
- Follow bakery hygiene, food safety, and personal hygiene standards.




- Use handling equipment and PPE as per company safety guidelines.
- Ensure storage conditions meet quality and food safety requirements.
- Documentation SupportAssist in recording inward and outward material movements.
- Support supervisors during audits and stock verifications.
- Maintain basic store records and documentation as instructed.
- Required QualificationsMinimum 10th Pass / 12th Pass preferred.
- Basic reading and writing skills.
- Prior experience in warehouse, store, food production, bakery, FMCG, or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Required SkillsBasic inventory handling knowledge.
- Ability to lift and move materials safely.
- Positive teamwork and discipline.
- Attention to cleanliness and organization.
- Understanding of FIFO/FEFO practices is an advantage.
- Physical RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry materials as per operational requirements.
- Comfortable working in warehouse and production environments.
- Working ConditionsWork in bakery production, cold storage, dry storage, and warehouse areas.
- Rotational shifts as per production requirements.
- Compliance with food safety, hygiene, and safety regulations is mandatory.
