- Head and manage the Biomedical Engineering Department.

- Prepare departmental budgets, MIS reports and equipment replacement plans.

- Oversee installation, commissioning, maintenance and calibration of all medical equipment.

- Ensure preventive and breakdown maintenance with minimum equipment downtime.

- Manage medical equipment inventory, AMC/CMC, warranties and vendor coordination.

- Coordinate with clinical departments for equipment requirements and technical specifications.

- Ensure compliance with NABH, NMC and applicable safety standards.

- Monitor critical care, OT, ICU, laboratory and diagnostic equipment.

- Conduct equipment safety training for doctors, nurses and technical staff.

- Lead the biomedical engineering team and ensure effective departmental operations.

Preferred candidate profile

10 - 15 years in Biomedical Engineering, preferably in a medical college or multispecialty hospital, with 35 years in a leadership role.
