Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Kozhikode.

The Video

Editor will be responsible for editing and assembling raw footage into polished video content for educational and promotional purposes, ensuring high-quality storytelling and brand consistency. Day-to-day tasks include trimming and sequencing clips, adding transitions, titles, and effects, performing basic color correction and grading, and preparing videos for various platforms. The role also involves collaborating with content creators and trainers, incorporating feedback,



and maintaining organized media files and project assets.

The Video

Editor will contribute creative ideas for new formats, optimize videos for social media, and support the production process from pre-production planning to final delivery.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading and basic visual enhancement techniques.
- Proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects) is beneficial.
- Strong sense of visual storytelling, pacing, and sound–image synchronization.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, take constructive feedback, and meet deadlines.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or related fields is an advantage, though equivalent practical experience is also valued.
- Familiarity with social media video formats and best practices for platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, and similar channels is preferred.
