ABOUT THE ROLE :

Northern Agency is looking for a creative Video Editor with a solid understanding of Instagram Reels and short-form content.

We're looking for someone who knows how to turn raw footage into engaging, scroll-stopping videos through creative cuts, storytelling, sound design, motion graphics and trending editing styles.

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES:

- Edit engaging Instagram Reels and short-form social media videos.
- Create attention-grabbing edits with strong hooks, smooth transitions, subtitles, sound effects and trending audio.
- Work on brand videos, cinematic edits and storytelling-based content.
- Create motion graphics, animations and visual effects.
- Edit long-form videos, podcasts and documentary-style content when required.
- Use AI tools for video editing,



visual generation and creative enhancement.
- Coordinate with the content team to understand briefs and bring creative concepts to life.
- Manage revisions and deliver projects within deadlines.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR :

- Minimum 1+ year of practical video editing experience.
- Strong understanding of Instagram Reels and short-form content.
- Good command of Premiere Pro, After Effects and similar tools.
- Knowledge of motion graphics, sound design and colour grading.
- Familiarity with AI-powered video editing tools.
- Creative thinking, attention to detail and a good understanding of social media trends.
