In alignment with the vision, mission, philosophy and educational objectives of the University's management, the institution seeks to associate with a dynamic, accomplished and visionary leader having 15–20 years or more of substantial industry experience, preferably in senior leadership positions particularly in the engineering and allied industries.

The ideal candidate should have demonstrated leadership capabilities, strategic vision and a strong understanding of contemporary industry practices, emerging technologies, workforce requirements and evolving skill ecosystems. The candidate is expected to play a pivotal role in strengthening the University's skill-based education model by translating real-world industrial experience into meaningful academic practices, curriculum development, experiential learning, industry collaborations, applied research, innovation and institutional governance. The association is envisaged to bring the richness of senior-level industry experience into the academic environment and contribute meaningfully towards the University's long-term vision of developing competent, industry-ready and future-focused professionals.

1. Eligibility

1. The candidate should possess a Ph.D. in Engineering,



Technology or an allied/relevant discipline.
2. The candidate should have a minimum of 15–20 years of professional experience in the Engineering / Manufacturing / Technology industry.
3. Out of the total industry experience, a minimum of 10 years should be at senior leadership positions such as General Manager (GM) or above, including AVP, Vice-President, Director, COO, Business Head or equivalent positions.
4. Candidates should preferably have experience in the following sectors: Engineering and Manufacturing/Information Technology and Engineering Services/Research and Development / Product Development.
5. The candidate should possess relevant teaching experience and exposure to academic administration, academic leadership, curriculum development or institutional development.
6. Candidate should be below 58 years at the time of application.

- Duties and Responsibilities

1. Skill-Based Education and Industry Integration: Drive the University's skill-based education model by strengthening industry-academia partnerships and integrating practical training, internships, apprenticeships, live projects and industry professionals into teaching and learning.
2. Academic Expansion and Revenue Generation:



Identify emerging industry trends and develop new industry-relevant academic programmes, executive education, corporate training, professional certifications and consultancy initiatives to expand the University's academic portfolio and generate sustainable revenue.
3. Institutional Leadership and Team Development: Provide strategic academic and administrative leadership, build a competent and high-performing leadership team, strengthen faculty capabilities through industry exposure and professional development, and foster a culture of accountability and performance excellence.
4. Industry Collaboration, Innovation and Research: Develop strategic collaborations with industries, universities and research institutions.

Promote

Centres of Excellence, industry-sponsored laboratories, applied research, consultancy, funded projects, patents, innovation and technology transfer.

5. Student Employability and Entrepreneurship: Enhance student employability through industry engagement, internships, placements, skill certifications and skilled mentoring. Promote entrepreneurship, incubation, start-ups and industry-linked learning to prepare students for gainful employment and self-employment.
6. Institutional Governance and Financial Sustainability: Ensure effective academic governance, quality assurance, accreditation, rankings and regulatory compliance, while strengthening financial management, infrastructure development, optimum resource utilization and long-term institutional sustainability.
