Key Responsibilities
- Perform Ultrasonic Testing (UT) on weld joints, fabricated components, and heavy fabrication structures to identify internal defects.
- Interpret and evaluate UT test results, including cracks, porosity, lack of fusion, and other weld discontinuities.
- Prepare UT inspection reports, maintain test records, and ensure compliance with applicable quality standards and customer specifications.
- Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of UT equipment and probes before conducting inspections.
- Coordinate with Production and Quality teams to identify welding defects, recommend corrective actions, and ensure product quality as per approved inspection procedures.
