Key Responsibilities

1. Design and develop press tools, progressive tools, forming dies, fixtures, and gauges for heat exchanger components using Solid Edge.
2. Prepare detailed 2D drawings, 3D models, BOMs, and manufacturing documents for tool fabrication and assembly.
3. Develop tooling for radiator, condenser, oil cooler, intercooler, and battery cooling system components.
4. Coordinate with Production, Process Engineering, and Tool Room teams for tool trials, modifications, and continuous improvements.
5. Analyze tool performance and implement design changes to improve productivity, quality, and tool life.
6. Support new product development by designing tooling for new heat exchanger projects and customer requirements.

Ensure tooling designs comply with manufacturing feasibility, quality standards, safety requirements, and cost targets.
8. Troubleshoot tooling-related issues during production and provide technical solutions to minimize downtime and rejection.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 4-8 years of experience in Tool Design for Heat Exchangers or Automotive Components.
- Robust proficiency in Solid Edge (2D & 3D Modeling).
- Knowledge of sheet metal forming, stamping, brazing assembly tooling, fixtures, and gauges.
- Understanding of GD&T;, manufacturing processes, tool room practices, and engineering drawings.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and cross-functional coordination skills.
