Key Responsibilities

Supplier Management

- Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers/vendors.

- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure advantageous agreements.

- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, delivery, and cost expectations are met.

Procurement Process

- Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions for goods and services.

- Monitor and track order status to ensure timely delivery.

- Review, compare, and analyze supplier quotes and select the best offer.

- Resolve supply, quality, service, or invoicing issues with suppliers.

- Follow-ups with school team/ finance team for payments.

Market Analysis

- Stay updated with market trends, pricing, and recent products/services.

- Conduct market research to identify potential new suppliers and products.

- Analyze and evaluate supplier performance and provide recommendations for improvements.

Cost Optimization

- Implement cost-saving strategies without compromising quality or service.

- Negotiate bulk purchase discounts and favorable terms with suppliers.

- Evaluate existing contracts and agreements for cost-effectiveness.





Compliance and Documentation

- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.

- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other relevant data.

- Prepare reports on purchases, budget, and cost analysis.

Qualifications

- Bachelors degree, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

- Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, stora management or a related role.

- Strong negotiation and communication skills.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Familiarity with procurement software and tools.

- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in procurement.

- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Knowledge of ERP & MS Office (Excel, Word & Power Point)

Preferred Skills

- Certification in Purchasing or Supply Chain Management is a plus.

- Experience in vendor management, contract negotiations and store management.

- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
