Role Description The STEWARD – F&B; role is a full-time, on-site position based at Akio Coffee Roasters in Dehradun. This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the café and kitchen areas, including washing dishes, cleaning equipment, and ensuring all service areas are tidy and well-stocked. The steward supports the barista and service team by preparing workstations, replenishing supplies, and handling basic food and beverage service tasks as needed.

Day-to-day activities include following hygiene and safety standards, managing waste and recycling,



assisting with inventory organization, and providing courteous support to colleagues to ensure smooth operations and a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

- Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organization in food and beverage service areas.
- Basic knowledge of café or restaurant operations, including handling dishwashing equipment, cleaning procedures, and stock replenishment.
- Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and reliability in completing routine tasks consistently.
- Valuable communication and teamwork skills, with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues and interacting with guests.
- Willingness to follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety guidelines; prior F&B; or hospitality experience is an advantage.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform manual tasks as part of daily operations.
- Basic English or Hindi language skills for understanding instructions; local candidates from Dehradun or nearby areas preferred.
