Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, taxation, reconciliations, and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and financial statements, along with proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, ledger maintenance, and general accounting.

- Prepare and maintain financial statements, including the Profit & Loss Account and Balance Sheet.

- Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, vendor payments, and customer collections.

- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accurate ledger reconciliations.

- Manage GST returns, TDS calculations, deductions, payments, and filings.

- Assist with income tax returns, tax audits, and statutory audits.

- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and statutory regulations.

- Monitor cash flow, expenses, and outstanding receivables and payables.

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.





- Coordinate with auditors, banks, vendors, customers, and internal departments.

- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.

- Maintain proper documentation, invoices, vouchers, and financial records.

- Identify discrepancies and implement measures to improve accounting accuracy and internal controls.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

- Practical experience in GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.

- Proficiency in Tally ERP / Tally Prime and MS Excel.

- Knowledge of ERP/accounting software such as SAP or Oracle is an advantage.

- Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.

- Valuable communication and coordination abilities.

- High attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines.

Candidate Requirements

- B.Com / M.Com / MBA in Finance or an equivalent qualification.

- 4–7 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.

- Hands-on experience in taxation, reconciliations, financial reporting, and audit coordination.

- Ability to work independently and manage accounting activities with minimal supervision.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates with experience in end-to-end accounting, GST and TDS compliance, financial reporting, and month-end closing will be preferred.
