- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend services and APIs
- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality features
- Debug and resolve production issues in a timely and effective manner
- Implement and maintain automated testing strategies (unit, integration, and end-to-end)
- Monitor and optimize application performance and identify areas for improvement
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Java technologies and trends
- Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives

- Required: Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns
- Proficiency in Java and related technologies (eg, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA)
- Experience with relational databases (eg, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
- Experience with version control systems (eg, Git)
- Experience with testing frameworks (eg, JUnit, Mockito)
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
