Job Title: Software Architect (.Net Core)

Location : Ahmedabad, Gujarat (Work from Office)

Experience Required: 7+ years

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced .NET Core Backend Architect with 7+ years of experience designing and developing scalable, high-performance backend applications and RESTful APIs. The candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in modern .NET, HTTP protocols, microservices, distributed systems, database optimization and backend architecture.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and own scalable backend architecture using .NET Core / .NET 8+.
- Architect high-performance RESTful APIs and define API standards, versioning and contracts.
- Understand HTTP protocols, request/response lifecycle, TCP, TLS, connection management and API internals.
- Design scalable microservices and distributed systems.
- Lead modernization and migration of legacy .NET Framework applications to modern .NET.
- Optimize application performance, memory management,



concurrency and database operations.
- Define caching, messaging and event-driven architecture strategies.
- Build secure, reliable and fault-tolerant backend services.
- Conduct architecture and code reviews, establish engineering standards, mentor developers and drive technical decisions.

Required Technical Skills

- Strong hands-on expertise in C#, .NET Core and .NET 8+ internals, CLR, garbage collection, async/await, multithreading and concurrency.
- Deep understanding of HTTP/1.1, HTTP/2, HTTP/3, TCP, TLS, HTTP request lifecycle, connection pooling and API internals.
- Strong experience designing microservices and distributed systems.
- Expertise in SQL Server and MongoDB, including database design, indexing and query optimization.
- Solid knowledge of performance optimization, scalability, memory management and thread pool management.
- Excellent understanding of SOLID principles, design patterns, Clean Architecture and dependency injection.
- Experience with Redis, Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ or Kafka and event-driven architecture.
- Strong understanding of API security, OAuth 2.0, JWT, OpenID Connect and OWASP security practices.
- Experience with distributed transactions, Saga Pattern, idempotency, retries and fault tolerance.
- Strong troubleshooting, system design and technical leadership capabilities.

Good to Have

- Azure cloud services, Azure Functions and Azure Service Bus.
- Docker and Kubernetes.
- OpenTelemetry, distributed tracing and Application Insights.
- gRPC, GraphQL and WebSockets.
- Experience with PCI DSS and payment integrations.
- Experience modernizing large-scale enterprise applications.
