Role Description The Social Media Manager is a volunteer, on-site role based in Ujjain, responsible for managing and growing yourworkpsych’s presence across social media platforms. This role includes planning and executing content calendars, creating engaging posts, and optimizing content for reach, engagement, and audience growth.

The Social Media

Manager will monitor trends, respond to comments and messages, and coordinate with the team to highlight programs, initiatives, and significant mental health topics. Day-to-day tasks involve drafting copy,



selecting or coordinating visual assets, tracking basic performance metrics, and suggesting improvements to social media strategies. The role also requires collaborating with team members to ensure all content aligns with yourworkpsych’s mission and brand voice.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) to manage platforms and improve reach and engagement.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Writing skills to create clear, inclusive, and engaging content.
- Candidates should possess skills in Content Strategy to plan calendars, align messaging with organizational goals, and support campaigns.
- Basic understanding of mental health or willingness to learn, with sensitivity toward psychological well-being and inclusive language.
- Ability to work on-site in Ujjain, collaborate with a small team, and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- Prior experience in social media management, community building, or digital marketing is beneficial but not mandatory.
