About the Opportunity

Havells Centre for Research & Innovation (CRI) is the technology and product design & development hub of Havells India Limited, driving innovation across consumer durables, electrical products, switchgear, appliances, and emerging technologies.

We are strengthening our Digital Engineering & Analysis team and are looking for experienced Simulation / CAE Engineers who can use advanced engineering simulation to solve real-world product development challenges.

You will contribute to the complete New Product Development (NPD) cycle, using simulation-driven engineering to improve product performance, reliability, durability, thermal management, and cost effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and validate simulation models across FEA, CFD, electromagnetics, MBD and multiphysics, depending on specialization.
- Independently scope and execute simulation studies to support product design and engineering decisions throughout the NPD cycle.
- Perform advanced analyses such as structural, fatigue, vibration, dynamics, thermal, fluid flow, impact/drop and electromagnetic simulations.
- Correlate simulation predictions with laboratory testing, experimental measurements and field data to improve model accuracy.
- Conduct design iterations, sensitivity studies and optimization to achieve performance, durability, reliability and cost targets.
- Support root-cause analysis of prototype, reliability-test and field failures, and recommend engineering countermeasures.




- Work closely with Product Design, Testing, Quality, Manufacturing and Packaging teams to integrate simulation insights into product development.
- Prepare high-quality technical reports and effectively communicate simulation findings and recommendations to engineering teams and leadership.

We are hiring across multiple simulation domains. Candidates should have solid expertise in at least one of the following areas:

1. Structural & Durability Simulation

2. Vibration & Dynamics

3. CFD & Thermal Simulation

4. Electromagnetics & Multiphysics

What We Are Looking For

- 3–8 years of relevant industrial experience in CAE, FEA, CFD, electromagnetic simulation or electromechanical product development.
- Strong engineering fundamentals, numerical modelling skills and understanding of material/physical behaviour relevant to your specialization.
- Hands-on expertise with relevant commercial CAE tools and the ability to independently build, troubleshoot and validate simulation models.
- Experience in simulation-to-test correlation, design optimization and engineering problem-solving.
- A strong innovation mindset, with the ability to develop new simulation approaches and engineering methodologies.
- Ability to independently take technical problems from problem definition to simulation, validation and design recommendation.
- Exposure to AI/ML-assisted engineering, Reduced Order Modelling (ROM), surrogate modelling or simulation automation will be an advantage.
