Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SFMC Architect to design and implement scalable, enterprise-level marketing automation solutions using Salesforce Marketing Cloud. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in marketing architecture, customer journey orchestration, data management, integrations, and personalized omnichannel campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

- Design end-to-end Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) architecture aligned with business and marketing requirements.
- Lead the implementation of marketing automation solutions using Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, and Mobile Studio.
- Design customer journeys, audience segmentation, personalization, and campaign orchestration across multiple channels.
- Architect data models, Data Extensions, Contact Builder, and subscriber management solutions.
- Integrate SFMC with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CRM platforms, data warehouses, and external applications.
- Design and implement integrations using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, Marketing Cloud Connect, and other integration frameworks.
- Develop scalable solutions using AMPscript, SQL, SSJS, and agile content personalization.
- Define best practices for data governance, consent management, privacy, deliverability, and security.
- Optimize campaign execution, automation workflows, data processing, and platform performance.
- Lead technical design discussions, architecture reviews, proof of concepts, and solution documentation.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, marketing teams, developers,



and integration teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Provide technical leadership, code reviews, mentoring, and guidance to development teams.
- Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices, enterprise architecture standards, and release management processes.

Mandatory Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).
- Expertise in Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, and Contact Builder.
- Strong knowledge of Data Extensions, data modeling, segmentation, and subscriber/contact management.
- Proficiency in AMPscript, SQL, and Server-Side JavaScript (SSJS).
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and enterprise system integrations.
- Experience integrating SFMC with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
- Strong understanding of customer lifecycle management, personalization, and omnichannel marketing.
- Experience designing scalable, secure, and reusable marketing automation solutions.
- Excellent architecture documentation, stakeholder management, and technical leadership skills.

Preferred Skills
- Salesforce Data Cloud and customer data platform integration.
- Experience with Marketing Cloud Personalization.
- Knowledge of MobileConnect, MobilePush, and WhatsApp or other messaging integrations.
- Experience with SFTP, file-based integrations, and data import/export automation.
- Knowledge of consent management, GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and email deliverability.
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications, such as Marketing Cloud Engagement Administrator, Developer, or Consultant.

Required Experience
- 10+ years of overall IT experience, preferably in CRM, digital marketing, or marketing automation.
- 6+ years of hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience.
- Proven experience leading SFMC solution architecture and enterprise implementations.
- Experience in client-facing technical discussions and end-to-end solution delivery.
