Role: Senior ServiceNow Developer – IT Asset Management

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer with strong expertise in IT Asset Management (HAM Pro & SAM Pro), Service Catalog development, workflow automation, and enterprise integrations.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing, developing, implementing, and supporting ServiceNow ITAM solutions, covering hardware and software asset lifecycle management, software compliance, reclamation, and governance.

The candidate will be responsible for delivering scalable and maintainable ServiceNow solutions, leveraging out-of-the-box platform capabilities while integrating ITAM functionalities with ITSM, CMDB, and CSDM frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

1. IT Asset Management (HAM & SAM)

- Design, develop, configure, and support ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM Pro) and Software Asset Management (SAM Pro).
- Manage end-to-end hardware and software asset lifecycle processes, including procurement, request, fulfillment, deployment, reclamation, refresh, and retirement.
- Implement software normalization, license compliance, software reclamation, and SaaS optimization.
- Improve asset governance, reporting, and data quality.

2. Service Catalog & Workflow Development

- Develop and maintain Service Catalog Items and Record Producers.
- Configure workflows using Flow Designer and Service Catalog capabilities.
- Build approval workflows, fulfillment processes, task orchestration, and automated processes.
- Enhance catalog usability and standardize service request processes.

3. Integrations & Automation

- Develop enterprise integrations using REST APIs,



Integration Hub, Flow Designer, Import Sets, and Transform Maps.
- Integrate ServiceNow with enterprise applications, SaaS platforms, asset repositories, and endpoint management tools.
- Troubleshoot integration failures, automation issues, and data synchronization problems.
- Build scalable automation solutions to reduce manual effort.

4. ServiceNow Development

- Develop and maintain Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, and Catalog Client Scripts.
- Develop Flow Designer workflows, Scheduled Jobs, and Scripted REST APIs.
- Perform debugging, root cause analysis, and application troubleshooting.
- Follow ServiceNow development best practices, platform governance, and documentation standards.

5. ITSM, CMDB & CSDM

- Work with ITSM processes, including Incident, Request, Change, and Problem Management.
- Understand the relationship between ITAM, ITSM, and Service Catalog capabilities.
- Maintain working knowledge of CMDB, Discovery, CSDM, Configuration Items, and Asset-to-CI relationships.
- Support CMDB data quality and governance initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Minimum 8+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in IT Asset Management implementation and support.
- Strong hands-on expertise in:
- Hardware Asset Management (HAM Pro).
- Software Asset Management (SAM Pro).
- Service Catalog and Record Producers.
- Flow Designer and Integration Hub.
- REST API integrations.
- Robust experience in ServiceNow JavaScript and scripting.
- Experience with Import Sets, Transform Maps, data imports, and workflow automation.
- Good understanding of ITSM processes, CMDB, and CSDM concepts.
- Ability to independently design and deliver end-to-end ServiceNow solutions.
