Service & Commissioning Engineer – Hydraulics

About the Role

We are looking for a Service & Commissioning Engineer – Hydraulics who can independently handle installation, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting of hydraulic systems at customer sites.

This is a field-oriented technical role, involving customer interaction, hydraulic troubleshooting, commissioning and after-sales service support.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, test and commission hydraulic systems and equipment at customer sites.
- Conduct system trial runs and performance checks.
- Read and understand hydraulic circuit diagrams and schematics.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic system and equipment-related issues.
- Diagnose faults and identify suitable corrective actions.
- Work with hydraulic pumps, motors, valves, cylinders and power packs.




- Use diagnostic equipment such as pressure gauges, flow meters and multimeters.
- Coordinate directly with customers during installation, commissioning and service activities.
- Provide after-sales technical support and resolve service-related issues.
- Coordinate with Application, Design, Factory and Sales teams for technical requirements.
- Prepare service reports, commissioning reports and technical records.
- Maintain proper records of customer visits and service activities.

What We Are Looking For

- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical or EEE.
- 2–3 years of relevant service, commissioning or hydraulic experience.
- Positive understanding of hydraulic systems, components and circuits.
- Ability to read hydraulic schematics.
- Good hydraulic troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to use basic diagnostic equipment.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to work independently at customer locations.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- A two-wheeler with a valid driving licence is required.
- Comfortable working 6 days a week.
