The team: A GenAI team building AI products end-to-end for the firm’s Human Capital function with engineers owning problems from idea to production.

The role: A builder and a people leader — someone who is genuinely hands-on with GenAI engineering and has also managed and grown an engineering team.

Experience band: 9–18 years.

Must-haves:

1. Genuine software-development background — a real software or ML-engineering career (writes and ships production code: services, APIs, backends, systems). Python mandatory.

2. Candidate should be from Product firms only.

3. Hands-on GenAI building in production — demonstrable in actual project work, not just a skills list:
- RAG pipelines

- Agentic systems — MCP, LangGraph/LangChain, multi-agent orchestration

- LLM evaluation — eval frameworks, guardrails, quality/release gates (a key differentiator; please prioritize candidates who show this)

- Genuine people leadership — has managed engineers and/or built or scaled a team, with real headcount ownership (hiring, mentoring, performance). A “lead” or “architect” title alone does not qualify.

- Location: Hyderabad / Bangalore only





Explicitly NOT a fit :

- Data engineers (ETL / data pipelines / warehousing / data-platform roles) — this is not the software background we need

- Data scientists / ML researchers whose work is models and notebooks rather than shipping software

- Product managers, program managers (TPMs), solutions/pre-sales, consultants, enterprise architects who don’t write code

- HR / talent-acquisition / L&D; / people-analytics professionals

- AI strategy / adoption / transformation leaders without hands-on building

- “AI-augmented” workflow/automation tooling (e.g. SAP Joule, n8n, Copilot rollouts) in place of real GenAI engineering

- Candidates over ~20 years where hands-on coding is no longer part of the job (over-qualified for this band)

Preferred (nice-to-have, never a substitute for the must-haves):

- Human-Capital / people / HR-tech domain exposure

- Contemporary AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot)

- Regulated / enterprise-scale production experience
