Summary: Own the HVAC scope of building projects from heat-load and design checks to installation, commissioning and handover, in Jaipur and at sites across India.
Responsibilities
- Calculate heat loads and select equipment: VRV/VRF, chillers, AHUs, FCUs, ventilation fans
- Size ducts and pipes; check static pressure and airflow; review drawings with the AutoCAD team
- Prepare BOQs and technical submittals; vet vendor data and shop drawings
- Run site execution: ducting, insulation, refrigerant and chilled-water piping, drains, equipment installation
- Test and commission: pressure and leak tests, vacuum and charging, air balancing, performance readings, documentation
- Coordinate with electrical, plumbing and civil teams and with client and consultant engineers
- Diagnose and fix faults at handover and during defects liability
Essential qualifications: B.E./B.Tech or diploma in Mechanical Engineering (or Refrigeration and Air Conditioning). Experience:
5–10 years preferred, in HVAC contracting or MEP. Years alone don't qualify; we test the work.
Technical competencies: Heat-load calculation (manual or HAP/E20); ASHRAE and ISHRAE practice; duct design (equal friction); VRV/VRF and chilled-water systems; testing, adjusting and balancing.
Desirable skills: Clean rooms or hospital HVAC; BMS integration and controls; energy-efficiency work; AutoCAD; manufacturer training (Daikin, Mitsubishi, Blue Star or similar).
Location: Based in Jaipur; travel to or posting at project sites across India.
