Role Description The Senior Embroidery Merchandiser will manage client relationships, coordinate orders, and oversee the development of embroidered samples and collections for luxury fashion and design clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include liaising with clients to understand design and production requirements,



preparing and presenting mood boards and embroidery concepts, and collaborating closely with design and production teams to ensure quality, timelines, and cost parameters are met. The role involves tracking orders, managing approvals, handling pricing and quotations, and ensuring smooth communication between clients and internal teams.

This is a full time, on-site role based in Mumbai, requiring regular interaction with artisans, designers, and operations staff to deliver high-standard embroidered products.

Qualifications

- Study fashion trends and anticipate designs
- Decide on a theme for a collection,Sketch designs
- Select fabrics, embellishments, color, or style for each garment
- Work with other designers or team members to create a prototype design
- Present design ideas to head of department
- Designing range as per key trends
- Handling buyer meetings
- Surface designing (Graphics and Embroidery)
- Sourcing of new fabrics and trims as per trends
