Role Description This is a full time, on-site Senior Electrical Design Engineer role based in Coimbatore.

The Senior Electrical Design

Engineer will lead the design and development of electrical systems and components for automotive, medtech, and industrial applications, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and customer specifications. Daily responsibilities include creating and reviewing electrical schematics and layouts, performing calculations and simulations, and preparing technical documentation and bills of materials.



The role involves collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams, suppliers, and project managers to support product development, manufacturing readiness, and issue resolution.

The engineer will also mentor junior engineers, contribute to design reviews, and support continuous improvement in design processes and quality.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong expertise in Electrical Design and Design Engineering, including schematics, layouts, and component selection.
- Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Electrical Engineering and Electricity, with the ability to perform calculations, analysis, and system-level assessments.
- Candidates should possess practical knowledge of Power Distribution, including load analysis, safety standards, and integration into industrial or product environments.
- Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Experience in industrial, automotive, or medtech product development environments, preferably in a design-focused role.
- Proficiency with electrical CAD/EDA tools and familiarity with applicable international standards and regulations.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional and multicultural teams.
