CLIENT : Global MNC undertaking wide portfolio of engineering services especially in Ground Mounted/Grid Connected Solar projects.Looking for Design Leads in Civil Structural in Gurgaon.

Job Objective:

As Design Lead (Civil / Structural), incumbent has to strictly adhere to the schedule of the ongoing projects,responsible for adherence to the resource allocated, for self & subordinates, for the project (man-hours) for smooth & timely completion by checking of the designs, drawings and other deliverables for executing Engineering Activities of Civil/Structural Engineering of AIS substations.

Key Drivers :

- Review drawings by Design Engineers, checking of design & sizing calculations of engineering electrical equipment and obtaining approvals from

the client.

- Review of Vendor deliverables pertaining to Engineering Lead a Civil Structural team for solar/renewable projects and provide timely and accurate design drawings pertaining to towers,girders and foundations.
- Review BOQ and submit to contracts team and providing technical clarifications
- Coordinate with multiple disciplines for ensuring inter-departmental checks




- Provide support & clarifications to the Site Execution team
- Design various RCC and steel buildings for GIS, control room and client quarters. Design of shallow, raft and pile foundations for the buildings as per the soil profile.
- Design outdoor structures like cable trenches, drain and road within the substation premises. Design transformer foundation and fire wall.

Incumbent Profile :

- Must have technical expertise in Engineering activities for civil & structural covering control room buildings, transformer foundations, outdoor equipment foundations,inverter rooms, grading, roads and drainage, outdoor steel structures and miscellaneous works.
- Ability to to review Vendor engineering documents with respect to Civil & Structural design. and to understand and interpret the contractual technical requirements.
