Role Description The Senior Consultant/Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based at Sri Balaji Action Medical Institute in New Delhi. The role involves providing specialized clinical care, conducting patient assessments, developing treatment plans, and performing or supervising procedures within the relevant medical specialty.

Responsibilities include collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, guiding junior doctors, and ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and ethical standards. The Consultant will participate in case discussions, contribute to quality improvement initiatives,



and support training and education activities within the department.

Senior

Consultants are additionally expected to provide leadership in their specialty, mentor clinical staff, and contribute to research or academic initiatives where applicable.

Qualifications

- Recognized medical degree (MBBS) with completed postgraduate qualification (MD/MS/DM/MCh or equivalent) in the relevant specialty.
- Valid medical registration and eligibility to practice in India; prior tertiary-care or multi-specialty hospital experience is highly preferred.
- Strong clinical expertise in diagnosis, treatment planning, and procedural skills appropriate to the specialty, with a commitment to evidence-based practice.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams, with effective communication and interpersonal skills for patient and family counseling.
- Experience in supervising or mentoring junior clinicians, participation in clinical audits, quality improvement, or research is an advantage.
- Willingness to support the institute’s humanitarian mission, including ethical practice, patient-centric care, and sensitivity to diverse social and economic backgrounds.
- Continuous learning mindset, with readiness to engage in academic activities, training programs, and career development within the institute.
