We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and target-driven Senior Career Counsellor with prior EdTech industry experience to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Connect with prospective students and working professionals through inbound and outbound calls.
2. Understand candidates' career goals, educational backgrounds and learning requirements.
3. Counsel prospective learners on relevant courses, career opportunities and skill development programs.
4. Explain course curriculum, program benefits, training structure and placement assistance wherever applicable.
5. Convert qualified leads into enrollments by effectively communicating the value of our programs.
6. Follow up with prospective students regularly and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
7. Handle student queries, objections and concerns professionally.
8. Achieve monthly enrollment and revenue targets assigned by the management.
9. Maintain accurate lead information,
follow-ups and daily activity reports in the CRM.
10. Coordinate with the internal teams to ensure a smooth student enrollment experience.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of compulsory experience in the EdTech industry.
- Prior experience in career counselling, educational counselling or course sales.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong convincing, negotiation and objection-handling abilities.
- Ability to understand student requirements and recommend suitable learning programs.
- Target-oriented approach with a proven ability to drive conversions.
- Positive follow-up, relationship management and CRM handling skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates with relevant EdTech experience only.
- Freshers and candidates without EdTech experience are not eligible.
- Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period will be preferred.
