Role: Copy & Content Writer, Marketing & Communications

Location: Mohali/ Gurugram.

We are looking for an experienced Content Developer to shape and elevate Plaksha's storytelling across platforms. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for a strong writer-editor who can independently conceptualize, create, and drive powerful pull-content aligned to the brands strategy.

The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking with execution excellence someone who can translate institutional priorities into compelling narratives while working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure impact and consistency.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Collaterals

- Write copy for Plaksha’s marketing collaterals including brochures, flyers, posters, standees and other brand material
- Translate the brand’s pull-marketing strategy (defined jointly with senior leadership) into clear storytelling outputs across collaterals and digital channels
- Manage each project from brief to final delivery: content briefs, outlines, drafts and stakeholder approvals
- Work with the designer on content flow and layout, so that copy and design work as one

Digital Assets





- Conceptualize, write and edit copy for the landing pages and Meta, Google advertisements
- Write long-form and short-form copy that reflects depth and clarity
- Adapt copy to different digital platforms while staying true to brand voice
- Adapt copy depending on the audience and channel

Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Partner closely with design, digital marketing, admissions, advancement and academic teams to conceptualize and deliver campaigns

Quality & Brand Stewardship

- Uphold editorial standards for accuracy, clarity and brand voice
- Ensure all communication reflects Plaksha’s mission and long-term institutional vision
- Take full ownership of content deliverables, ensuring timeliness, accuracy and quality
- Ensure consistency in tone, messaging and visual alignment across all print and digital material

Education and Experience

- Bachelor's or master's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of professional experience in content creation, editing, or communications.
- Proven track record of independently managing diverse content formats-long-form, short-form, print, digital, social, and multimedia.

Skills

- Exceptional writing and editing skills with strong attention to tone, structure, and brand voice
- Self-driven and structured, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Passionate about meaningful storytelling and mission-driven communication
- Working knowledge of the print production process, including proofing, formats, and approvals
