Company Profile

Morulaa HealthTech is a fast-growing technology company building AI-driven regulatory and compliance solutions, helping over 500+ global medical device and IVD manufacturers navigate complex regulatory pathways into India, the EU, the USA, and ASEAN markets. Our platforms help organizations automate document-heavy workflows.

Why this role exists

As Morulaa HealthTech continues to scale its global operations and client footprint, we are expanding our Finance & Operations team. We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Senior Accounts Executive (3+ years of experience) to lead core accounting operations, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.

In this role, you will take ownership of end-to-end accounting processes from day-to-day general ledger oversight and statutory tax filings (GST, TDS) to financial audit readiness and cash flow management. Designed for a proactive finance professional, this role offers an opportunity to build robust financial systems within a fast-moving HealthTech and Knowledge Process environment.

What you'll do

- Core Accounting & General Ledger Management: Lead day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), bank reconciliations, vendor billings, and journal entries. Ensure all transactions align strictly with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Accounting Standards.
- Statutory Compliance & Taxation: Prepare, file, and reconcile monthly/quarterly statutory returns, including GST (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation), TDS deductions and quarterly returns, and advance tax calculations. Ensure strict adherence to Indian tax laws and statutory timelines.
- Financial Reporting & Month-End Closing: Manage month-end and year-end closing activities. Prepare key financial statements (Profit & Loss Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement) and monthly MIS reports for management review.
- Payroll & Expense Processing: Oversee monthly payroll processing, employee expense reimbursements, and compliance with PF, ESI,

and Professional Tax regulations.
- Audit Readiness & Inter-Departmental Coordination: Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and banking partners for annual financial audits, statutory assessments, and tax filings. Ensure all digital accounting records are organized and audit-ready at all times.

What you bring Education & Experience

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or Finance; Master’s degree (M.Com, MBA Finance) or semi-qualified CA/CMA is strongly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 3+ years of progressive hands-on experience in core accounting, statutory compliance, and financial reporting preferably in a tech, SaaS, or professional services workplace.

Mandatory Technical & Accounting Skills

- Accounting Software: Advanced expertise in Tally Prime / Tally ERP 9 and modern cloud accounting software.
- Taxation & Compliance: In-depth working knowledge of GST laws, e-invoicing, e-way bill generation, TDS provisions, and income tax regulations.
- Data & Tool Skills: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, financial modeling formulas, and data analysis) and MS Word.

Interpersonal & Soft Skills

- Communication: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, capable of liaising professionally with external auditors, vendors, banks, and senior leadership.
- Competencies: High ethical standards when handling confidential financial data, sharp numerical aptitude, strong problem-solving abilities, and high attention to detail.

Why join Morulaa Health Tech? At Morulaa HealthTech, you will be an integral part of a fast-expanding technology pioneer transforming global healthcare regulatory workflows. Unlike traditional, repetitive accounting roles, you will gain direct ownership of end-to-end corporate finance, work closely with leadership, and play a crucial role in maintaining financial integrity and supporting our rapid international scaling.
