Role Description The Sales Executive role is a full-time, on-site position based at the Clay by Lingaraj showroom in Bhubaneswar.

The Sales

Executive will welcome customers, understand their requirements, and provide guided product recommendations across marbles, granites, tiles, bath ware, flooring, and other decor solutions.

Responsibilities include explaining product features and benefits, preparing quotations, negotiating pricing within company guidelines, and closing sales. The role also involves maintaining showroom displays, following up with leads,



coordinating with operations and logistics teams for timely delivery, and ensuring a high standard of customer service.

The Sales

Executive will contribute to sales targets, support promotional activities, and keep updated on product ranges and market trends.

Qualifications

- Strong sales, negotiation, and customer relationship-building skills, with a consultative approach to selling.
- Ability to understand and explain product features, materials, finishes, and design options in clear, accessible language.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office or similar tools for quotations, reporting, and maintaining customer records.
- Previous experience in retail sales, building materials, home decor, interiors, or a related industry is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work in a quick-paced showroom environment.
- Comfort working full time on-site in Bhubaneswar, including weekends and peak customer hours as required.
- Minimum of a high school diploma; a degree in business, marketing, or a related field is beneficial.
