Maschio Gaspardo S.p.A. is a leading Italian and international company specializing in the design and manufacturing of agricultural equipments.

As part of its international growth strategy, the company is looking for a Senior Plant Controller to join its manufacturing facility in Pune, Maharashtra, India.

The role The Senior Plant Controller will play a key role in monitoring and driving the financial and operational performance of the manufacturing plant.

Acting as a strategic business partner to Plant Management, the successful candidate will provide financial insights, support operational decision-making and ensure transparency, consistency and alignment with Group policies, procedures and reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor plant performance and key manufacturing KPIs
- Analyze production costs, labor efficiency and machine utilization, providing insights to support operational performance
- Manage standard costing, variance analysis and cost allocation processes
- Monitor Bill of Materials (BOM) accuracy and manufacturing cost structures
- Support operational efficiency initiatives and evaluate capital expenditure (CapEx) investments
- Monitor cross-functional KPIs, including sales margins, purchasing costs, production volumes, inventory turnover and quality costs
- Coordinate the plant budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with Group objectives
- Ensure compliance with financial procedures, internal controls and corporate policies.




- Support internal and external audit activities and contribute to the continuous improvement of reporting processes
- Act as a financial business partner to Plant Management, translating financial data into actionable insights to support operational and strategic decision-making
- Facilitate effective communication and reporting between the local organization and Group Headquarters

Requirements & Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or Engineering.
- 8–10+ years of experience in Controlling, with significant exposure to industrial and manufacturing environments
- Strong background in Plant Controlling, preferably within multinational organizations
- Proven experience supporting manufacturing operations and working in international business environments
- Previous experience in Indian manufacturing operations will be considered a strong advantage
- Solid analytical, financial analysis and modelling capabilities
- In-depth understanding of manufacturing cost structures and industrial controlling processes
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement and Sales teams
- Solid experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and familiarity with Business Intelligence tools
- Fluent English is essential

Compensation package The estimated annual compensation package for this position ranges from €70,000 to €100,000, depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications. The company will also provide accommodation.
