Role Description The Research and Development Specialist will work on developing, testing, and optimizing Beauty and Personal Care formulations for startup and emerging brand clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting laboratory experiments, documenting research findings, analyzing data, and contributing to product improvement and innovation. The specialist will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to translate client requirements into feasible R&D; projects and support regulatory and quality documentation as needed.

This is a contract role,



with a hybrid work model based in Nagpur, allowing a combination of on-site laboratory work and some work-from-home tasks such as data analysis and report writing.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Research and Development (R&D;) and Research skills relevant to Beauty and Personal Care products.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills for data interpretation, formulation evaluation, and problem-solving.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating with clients and team members.
- Candidates should possess practical Laboratory Skills, including handling materials, equipment, and standard test methods.
- Relevant degree in chemistry, cosmetic science, pharmaceutical science, biotechnology, or a related field.
- Experience in Beauty and Personal Care product development or cosmetic R&D; is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work in a hybrid setting, manage time independently, and meet project timelines.
- Familiarity with basic regulatory and safety requirements for cosmetic and personal care products is an advantage.
