About the Role

Arnsoft is looking for an experienced QA Engineer with robust expertise in Manual and Automation Testing, preferably in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Warehouse Execution Systems (WES), Warehouse Control Systems (WCS), or warehouse automation solutions.

The candidate will be responsible for validating end-to-end warehouse workflows, REST APIs, microservices, system integrations, and application performance. The ideal candidate should combine strong QA fundamentals with warehouse domain knowledge and hands-on Python-based test automation experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Functional & Domain Testing: Design and execute test scenarios for warehouse workflows, including order creation, planning, inventory allocation, order release, picking, packing, shipping, replenishment, and exception handling.
- Warehouse Workflow Validation: Validate SKU availability, inventory reservation, zone-based planning, order prioritization, task orchestration, and order lifecycle transitions.
- API Testing: Perform REST API testing, validate request/response payloads, JSON structures, HTTP status codes, business rules, and error-handling scenarios using Postman or equivalent tools.
- Automation Testing: Develop, maintain, and execute automated functional and regression test suites using Python, Pytest, Requests, or equivalent frameworks.
- Microservices & Integration Testing: Validate inter-service communication, asynchronous messaging,



event processing, queue management, and end-to-end workflow consistency.
- Performance Testing: Conduct load, stress, and concurrency testing to evaluate throughput, response times, latency, scalability, and system stability under high workloads.
- Database Testing: Write SQL queries to validate inventory records, order statuses, task execution, and data consistency across services.
- Defect & Regression Management: Identify, document, troubleshoot, track defects, and perform regression testing to ensure application quality.
- CI/CD & Release Validation: Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support QA, UAT, and production release validation.

Technical Skills & Requirements

1. QA & Testing: Strong experience in functional, integration, system, regression, end-to-end, and non-functional testing.
2. Programming & Automation: Hands-on Python programming with Pytest, Requests, or equivalent automation frameworks.
3. API Testing: Experience with REST APIs, Postman, JSON payload validation, and API automation.
4. Performance Testing: Experience with JMeter, Locust, or Python-based load-testing tools. Understanding of throughput, latency, response time, and concurrency.
5. Database: Good SQL knowledge for backend validation, data verification, and troubleshooting.

Architecture & Integration: Understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems, event-driven workflows, and asynchronous processing.
7. Messaging Systems: Exposure to Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar message brokers.
8. DevOps & Tools: Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Linux-based environments, and Jira.
9. Monitoring: Exposure to Grafana, Prometheus, or similar monitoring and observability tools is an advantage.

Preferred Domain Experience

- Prior experience in WMS, WES, WCS, logistics, supply chain, or warehouse automation applications.
- Understanding of warehouse outbound operations, inventory management, order allocation, picking, packing, shipping, and replenishment.
- Exposure to Material Handling Equipment (MHE), conveyors, sorters, AMRs/AGVs, and warehouse control systems.
- Understanding of event sequencing, message retries, duplicate events, failure recovery, and eventual consistency in distributed systems.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

What We Are Looking For A technically strong QA professional who can independently design test strategies, automate API and end-to-end workflows using Python, validate complex warehouse execution scenarios, troubleshoot distributed system issues, and assess application performance under concurrent workloads.

- Candidates with a combination of WMS/WES domain knowledge, Python automation, API testing, and microservices integration experience will be preferred.
