Role Description This is a full-time, in office QA Automation Docker Engineer role based in Gurugram. The engineer will design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks and test cases for microservices and applications deployed in containerized (Docker) environments. Daily responsibilities include writing and executing automated and manual tests, validating software quality across functional and non-functional requirements, and collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers to identify, document, and resolve defects.

The role also involves integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, monitoring test execution, improving test coverage, and contributing to overall QA best practices and documentation.

Qualifications





- Candidates should possess strong Quality Assurance and Software Testing skills, with a solid understanding of test design principles and defect life cycle.
- Candidates should possess skills in writing and executing Test Cases and performing Manual Testing where automation is not feasible.
- Candidates should possess QA Automation skills, including experience building and maintaining automated test suites and frameworks.
- Candidates should possess hands-on experience with Docker or other container technologies, and familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (such as Python, Java, or JavaScript) for test automation.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and a focus on reliability.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional engineering teams on-site in Gurugram.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred; prior experience in automated testing of containerized or microservices-based systems is a plus.
