Role Description The Purchase Specialist is a full time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad, responsible for managing end-to-end purchasing activities to support solar and clean energy operations. This role includes sourcing and evaluating suppliers, preparing and processing purchase orders, negotiating pricing and terms, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment.

The Purchase

Specialist will maintain accurate procurement records, track inventory levels, and collaborate with project, operations,



and finance teams to align purchasing with project timelines and budgets. Day-to-day tasks also involve monitoring vendor performance, resolving discrepancies in orders or invoices, and supporting continuous improvement in purchasing processes and cost efficiency. The role requires adherence to company policies, quality standards, and sustainability goals in all procurement decisions.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Purchasing Processes and Purchase Management to handle end-to-end procurement activities effectively.
- Candidates should possess experience with Purchase Orders and Purchasing operations, including supplier sourcing, order processing, and vendor coordination.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to evaluate suppliers, compare quotations, optimize costs, and support data-driven purchasing decisions.
- Relevant experience in procurement or supply chain within manufacturing, engineering, or renewable energy sectors is beneficial.
- Good knowledge of MS Office and basic ERP or procurement software tools is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, negotiation abilities, and organizational skills are required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams are essential.
- A diploma or degree in business, commerce, supply chain, or a related field is preferred.
