Role & responsibilities

- Plan, mobilise and execute school construction, renovation, structural repair and WASH projects within approved scope, budget and timelines.

- Supervise contractors, Site Engineers and vendors; monitor daily progress, resource deployment and construction schedules.

- Ensure technical quality and compliance with approved drawings, BOQs, specifications, safety standards and child-safeguarding requirements.

- Verify material consumption, work measurements, contractor bills, procurement requirements and project cost variations.

- Maintain project documentation, site reports, progress photographs, quality records and updates in Zoho Projects.

- Coordinate with school authorities, government stakeholders, contractors and internal teams to ensure smooth project implementation and timely handover.

- Identify execution risks, resolve site-level bottlenecks and ensure proper project completion, handover and closure documentation.

Preferred candidate profile





- Diploma/BE/BTech in Civil Engineering; solid hands-on construction experience is essential.

- Prefer prior roles as Civil Project Manager, Construction Manager, Site/Project Engineer (with multi-site ownership), PMC Project Manager or design-and-build manager.

- Demonstrated project delivery involving civil works, BOQ, drawings, measurements, subcontractors, quality, safety, billing and final handover.

- Working capability in Excel, schedule tracking (MS Project or equivalent), digital site reporting and structured document repositories; able to adopt Zoho Projects.

- Comfort with rural and semi-urban sites, local contractors, constrained budgets, difficult logistics and frequent travel.

- Preferred: public/institutional buildings, active-campus renovation, WASH, school infrastructure, multi-site refurbishments and MEP coordination.
