Job Title: CNC / VMC Machine Production Supervisor

Department: Production / Manufacturing

Reporting To: Production Manager

Required Experience: 6 - 8 years of experience in CNC / VMC machining operations v Job Summary:

The CNC / VMC Machine Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily machining operations, ensuring production targets, maintaining quality standards, managing operators, and optimizing machine utilization.

v Key Responsibilities:

Ø Production Management

· Supervise day-to-day CNC / VMC machining activities, ensure production targets are achieved as per planning

· Monitor machine utilization and minimize downtime, Coordinate with planning and maintenance teams

Ø Team Supervision

· Lead and guide CNC / VMC machine operators, allocate tasks and monitor operator performance

· Provide training and skill development, Maintain discipline and protected work practices

Ø Quality Control

· Ensure machining processes meet quality standards, Monitor part accuracy and tolerances

· Coordinate with QA department for inspections, Implement corrective actions for defects

Ø Process Improvement

· Identify opportunities for productivity improvement, Reduce cycle time and material wastage

· Support implementation of lean practices, Optimize tooling and fixtures usage

Ø Machine & Safety Compliance

· Ensure proper machine handling and care, Follow preventive maintenance schedules





· Enforce safety rules and procedures, Maintain housekeeping standards (5S)

Ø Documentation & Reporting

· Maintain production reports and records, Track rejection, rework, and efficiency metrics

· Report issues to management, Maintain shift handover documentation v Required Qualifications:

Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Relevant technical certification preferred

Prior supervisory experience preferred v Required Skills:

· Required strong knowledge of CNC / VMC machines, programming, Setting

· Understanding of machining processes & tolerances

· Leadership and team management skills

· Problem-solving and decision-making ability

· Basic knowledge of production planning

· Familiarity with safety & quality standards

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
