We are looking for an experienced Production &

- Quality Manager to manage end-to-end manufacturing operations, quality assurance, laboratory activities, and regulatory compliance at our fertilizer manufacturing facility. The candidate will be responsible for production planning, product formulation, quality control, process optimization, cost management, and team leadership while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production Planning &
- Plant Operations

- Plan and manage daily production of Water Soluble Fertilizers (WSF), NPK Blends, Micronutrients, Organic and Bio Fertilizers, and Specialty Fertilizers.

- Develop and optimize fertilizer formulations in coordination with R&D; and Marketing teams.

- Ensure accurate batch formulation, raw material selection, dosage calculations, and process standardization.

- Monitor production targets, plant utilization, and operational efficiency.

1. Quality Assurance &
- Laboratory Management

- Manage QA/QC activities for raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.

- Supervise laboratory operations, analytical testing, instrument calibration, and batch release.

- Implement SOPs and maintain quality documentation.

- Ensure compliance with FCO specifications, BIS standards, and customer requirements.

1. Process Optimization &
- Cost Control

- Monitor production processes and optimize yield, product quality, energy efficiency, and manufacturing costs.

- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).

- Identify process deviations and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

- Monitor raw material consumption, inventory, wastage, and production costs.

1. Regulatory Compliance &
- Audits

- Ensure compliance with FCO, BIS, ISO 9001, ISO 14001,



ISO 45001, NABL, and EHS requirements.

- Handle internal, external, customer, and regulatory audits.

- Maintain statutory records and ensure safe handling and storage of raw materials and finished products.

1. Product Development &
- Coordination

- Coordinate with R&D;, QA/QC, Maintenance, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Regulatory teams.

- Support recent product development, formulation validation, product trials, and process scale-up.

- Facilitate technology transfer and continuous product improvement.

1. Documentation &
- MIS Reporting

- Maintain production records, formulation sheets, Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR), laboratory reports, and quality documentation.

- Prepare production analysis, raw material consumption reports, formulation cost calculations, and monthly MIS reports.

1. Team Management

- Lead and supervise production, QA/QC, laboratory, shift engineers, supervisors, and plant operators.

- Conduct technical, formulation, quality, and safety training.

- Develop a culture of safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Desired Candidate Profile

- 10 - 15 years of relevant experience in fertilizer manufacturing, preferably in Water Soluble Fertilizers (WSF), NPK, Specialty Fertilizers, or Agrochemicals.

- M.Sc. in Chemistry, Agricultural Chemistry, or Fertilizer Chemistry.

- Strong experience in fertilizer production planning, formulation, and plant operations.

- Hands-on experience in QA/QC, laboratory management, and analytical testing.

- Knowledge of FCO, BIS, ISO standards, NABL, and statutory compliance.

- Experience in process optimization, RCA, CAPA, and cost control.

- Strong team management, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

- Experience in handling production documentation, BMR, MIS, and audits.
