PR & Media Lead (Events & Brand Collaborations)
OFF/CALL · Remote · Part time, project-based
ABOUT OFF/CALL
OFF/CALL is a community for doctors and medical students, about their lives beyond medicine: their talent, humour and stories. In a few weeks we've grown to 1,300+ followers and 278K monthly views on Instagram.
We're now launching small, premium experiences for doctors: heritage walks, slow weekends in the hills and curated evenings, starting with smaller cities.
THE ROLE
We're looking for a PR and media professional to build OFF/CALL's visibility and bring the right brands on board for our experiences, through relationships, not sales calls.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Get OFF/CALL featured in digital media, local platforms, podcasts and lifestyle publications
- Reach out to brands (lifestyle, travel, hospitality, fitness, coffee, audio, fashion) for collaborations on our experiences
- Shape the story we tell about OFF/CALL to media and partners
- Build and manage relationships with brands, media and creators
- Work with our content team on announcements and press moments
WHO YOU ARE
- 2+ years at a PR agency, media house or events company
- You've secured media coverage and brand collaborations yourself
- You write and pitch confidently in English
- You have a network across media, brands or agencies
- Self-driven, and comfortable working independently
THIS ROLE IS NOT FOR YOU IF
- Your background is mainly sales, business development or B2B lead generation
WHAT YOU GET
- Part-time, project-based, in your own time
- Modest monthly retainer + success fee on every partnership you close
- Fully remote
- Real ownership, and direct access to the founding team
- A chance to build something meaningful for doctors
Note: we don't partner with pharmaceutical companies.
