Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Power Plant Engineer role based in Korba.

The Power Plant

Engineer will oversee daily plant operations, monitor equipment performance, and ensure safe and productive power generation.

Responsibilities include conducting inspections, troubleshooting technical issues, coordinating maintenance activities, and supporting start-up and shutdown procedures. The role also involves optimizing steam systems, reviewing operational data, implementing improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.



The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, prepare technical reports, and support training of operations staff as needed.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Power Plant Operations and Power Generation.
- Candidates should have hands-on experience working with PowerPlant and Power Plants systems.
- Candidates should be proficient in managing and optimizing Steam-related processes within power plants.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Power, or Energy Engineering (or equivalent technical discipline).
- Experience in thermal power plants or similar heavy industrial facilities is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of safety standards, environmental regulations, and preventive maintenance practices.
- Ability to analyze operational data, use relevant engineering software, and prepare clear technical documentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in on-site plant environments.
