Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Industry Outreach & Corporate Relations

- Network Expansion: Establish, cultivate, and manage long-term qualified relationships with design firms, advertising agencies, UX/UI studios, retail brands, manufacturing units, and corporate employers.
- Brought-in Opportunities: Source and scale internship, graduation project, and final placement opportunities matching the specialized streams (e.g., Fashion, Communication, Product, Interior Design).
- Brand Evangelism: Act as the primary brand ambassador for the design school, organizing corporate networking events, design showcases, and institutional outreach.

2. Student Preparation & Career Coaching

- Portfolio & Resume Guidance: Work closely with faculty to mentor students on industry-standard portfolio presentation, resume building, and reel/case-study development.
- Skill Enhancement: Coordinate workshops, mock interviews, design critique sessions, and soft-skills training tailored to the creative industry (e.g., client pitching, design thinking presentation skills).
- Career Counseling: Guide students regarding career paths, higher education options, freelance ecosystems, and current industry design trends.

Placement Process Management

- Drive Coordination: End-to-end management of campus recruitment drives—both online and offline—including scheduling, pre-placement talks, portfolio reviews, technical assessment tests, and interview logistics.
- Data & Analytics: Maintain systematic records of student portfolios, career preferences, application tracking, offer letters, and annual placement statistics.
- Policy Execution: Implement campus placement guidelines, manage multiple-offer protocols, and ensure smooth on-boarding transitions for graduates.

4. Industry Feedback & Curriculum Alignment

- Facilitate regular interaction between industry leaders and academic heads to share recruiter feedback, ensuring the design curriculum evolves alongside industry software, tech advancements, and market demands.
- Organize Industry Advisory Board meetings, guest lectures, design panel discussions, and masterclasses.
