Role Description This is a full-time, in office Piping Engineer role based in the Pune Division, focused on Autodesk Plant 3D.

The Piping

Engineer will be responsible for developing piping layouts and designs in Autodesk Plant 3D, coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering teams, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and project specifications. Daily tasks include preparing and reviewing 3D models and drawings, performing basic calculations and stress checks,



supporting design reviews, and resolving piping-related design issues. The role involves close collaboration with project managers and other engineers to meet schedule, quality, and safety requirements, as well as updating documentation and participating in client and internal review meetings.

Qualifications

- Ability to perform engineering calculations related to piping systems and support design decisions.
- Strong skills in Piping Design, including layout development, routing, and equipment connectivity.
- Practical experience with Piping and Pipe system components, materials, and standards.
- Knowledge of Stress Analysis for piping to assess flexibility, loads, and compliance with codes.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Plant 3D and familiarity with other relevant CAD/CAE tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Understanding of industry codes and standards applicable to piping (e.g., ASME, ISO) is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in an on-site project environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders.
