Who are we looking for:

We are looking for a strategic, relationship-driven professional to lead content partnerships, author acquisition, strategic alliances, and business development.

The role involves identifying high-value content opportunities, building relationships with CXOs, founders, investors, industry experts, authors, brands, and other senior stakeholders, and converting these relationships into commercially viable content partnerships.

The ideal candidate should have strong B2B relationship-building, consultative selling, networking, negotiation, and opportunity-identification skills, along with a strong understanding of the publishing, education, media, or content ecosystem.

This person will be responsible for taking partnerships from identifying the opportunity → prospecting → pitching → negotiation → onboarding → agreement closure → relationship management → internal handover and execution.

Your contribution to the team:

- Author & Expert Acquisition

- Identify and onboard high-quality authors, CXOs, founders, investors, directors, industry leaders, educators, and subject-matter experts.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential authors and content partners.
- Proactively identify influential individuals who can contribute to books, courses, blogs, thought-leadership content, and other intellectual-property-led products.
- Conduct outreach through LinkedIn, email, networking, referrals, events, industry communities, and other relevant channels.

- Pitch the company’s publishing and content propositions to prospective authors and experts.
- Own the author acquisition funnel from lead generation to conversion and onboarding.
- Build long-term relationships with authors and experts beyond the initial acquisition.

- Strategic Content Partnerships

- Develop and pitch customized partnership propositions based on the partner’s objectives.
- Explore partnerships with brands and companies for content creation, knowledge products, and other commercial opportunities.
- Build a network of senior decision-makers across relevant industries.

- Industry & Market Research

- Stay closely updated with trends across the publishing, education, business, media, and knowledge-content ecosystem.
- Track market demand and emerging themes to identify potential book and content opportunities.
- Analyze existing books, content categories, market trends, audience demand, and competitive offerings.
- Identify content gaps and underserved topics where the company can create differentiated intellectual property.

- Business Development & Revenue Generation

- Generate revenue through the company’s publishing, content, and related services.
- Pitch publishing/content services to aspiring authors, experts, brands, and organizations.
- Manage the sales cycle from initial conversation through negotiation and closure.
- Negotiate commercials, scope, timelines, and partnership terms.
- Consistently work towards revenue and conversion targets.

- Lead Generation & Conversion Strategy

- Develop strategies for generating qualified leads across authors, experts, brands, and organizations.
- Build multiple acquisition channels including outbound prospecting, referrals, partnerships, events, communities, and networking.
- Develop approaches to improve lead qualification, engagement, conversion, and retention.
- Track the complete funnel from prospect → qualified lead → pitch → negotiation → closure → onboarding.
- Identify bottlenecks in the funnel and implement strategies to improve conversion rates.
- Maintain a healthy and predictable pipeline of prospective partners and authors.

- Senior Stakeholder Relationship Management

- Act as the primary point of contact for strategic partners during the acquisition and onboarding journey.
- Maintain regular communication and follow-ups with partners.
- Understand stakeholder expectations and ensure a smooth transition from acquisition to execution.

- Internal Stakeholder & Project Coordination

- Coordinate closely with internal content, editorial, design, marketing, sales, operations, legal, and other teams.
- Ensure smooth handover of acquired authors, brands, and partnerships to relevant internal teams.
- Maintain visibility of the status of active partnerships and ensure timely movement of opportunities.
- Coordinate documentation, agreements, onboarding requirements, and other commercial processes.
- Resolve potential bottlenecks between external partners and internal teams.

- Events & Offline Networking (Whenever Required)

Represent the company at relevant industry events, conferences, publishing events, business forums, founder communities, and networking platforms.

Identify potential partnership opportunities through offline networking.

Build relationships with decision-makers and industry influencers.

Convert relevant event relationships into meaningful business and content opportunities.

Track emerging communities, forums, and events that can become acquisition channels.

Must Haves:

1. 5–8 years of experience in business development, partnerships, strategic alliances, content acquisition, publishing, media, edtech, education, or a related industry.
2. Strong experience in B2B relationship management and stakeholder engagement.
3. Demonstrated ability to independently generate and convert leads.
4. Strong networking and communication skills.
5. Experience interacting with senior professionals, founders, CXOs, or industry experts.
6. Strong negotiation and consultative selling skills.
7. Ability to identify commercial opportunities rather than simply execute assigned leads.
8. Robust research and market-analysis capabilities.
9. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and partnerships simultaneously.
10. Comfortable working in a high-ownership, entrepreneurial environment.

Office Location - Vesu, Surat, Gujarat.

Work Type - In-Office, Fulltime.
