Company Description The official fine arts society of NIT Jamshedpur, FACES_NITJSR is a dynamic community of artists and designers focused on art, design, and visual storytelling. The society brings campus spaces and ideas to life through color, murals, installations, and creative campaigns.

FACES_NITJSR regularly organizes workshops, exhibitions, and competitions that foster artistic expression, collaboration, and innovation among students. Role Description The Owner of FACES_NITJSR is responsible for leading the society’s vision, activities, and operations on a full-time basis. This on-site role in Jamshedpur involves overseeing planning and execution of art projects, events, workshops, and competitions, while coordinating with student members, faculty, and campus stakeholders.

The Owner manages day-to-day activities such as project allocation, timeline tracking, resource and material coordination, and quality review of creative work. The role includes guiding the creative direction of the society, mentoring members,



and ensuring inclusive, collaborative participation across disciplines. The Owner also handles communication, documentation, and basic administrative tasks to maintain continuity and growth of the society.

Qualifications

- Ability to lead and manage a student arts organization, including project planning, coordination, and decision-making.
- Strong creative skills in fine arts, design, or visual storytelling, with a portfolio or prior experience in art-related initiatives.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with students, faculty, and campus administration.
- Organizational and time-management skills to oversee multiple projects, events, and workshops simultaneously.
- Experience in event organization or club/society management, including budgeting basics and resource management, is beneficial.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, non-discriminatory workplace that supports diverse artistic voices.
- Comfort working on-site in Jamshedpur and being available for regular meetings, practices, and campus events.
- Enrollment at or strong familiarity with NIT Jamshedpur and its student community is preferred.
